1. Who we are

Convert Projects is a workflow tool for interior design studios to create concept presentations and share them with clients through tracked HTML links. This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information - your email, name, studio/designer name, brand kit details (logo, colours), and password (stored as a hash by our authentication provider).
  • Project data - project briefs, client names and emails you enter, uploads (reference images), generated deck content, and any notes you save.
  • Proposal-view tracking - when a client opens a share link, we record the view count, timestamps, approximate viewer fingerprint (session identifier), and referring source.
  • Billing information - handled by Stripe. We store subscription status, plan, credit balance, and Stripe customer/subscription IDs. We do not store card numbers.
  • Usage analytics - basic page-view counts and device/country aggregates via our platform's built-in analytics.

3. How we use it

  • To generate, store, and deliver your concept decks.
  • To send you deck-open notifications and other transactional emails you have chosen to receive.
  • To operate billing, credit tracking, and account management.
  • To detect abuse, secure the service, and comply with legal obligations.
  • To improve the product based on aggregate usage.

4. Sub-processors we share data with

  • Supabase - database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Stripe - payment processing, subscription management, tax calculation.
  • Mailgun (via our platform's email service) - transactional email delivery.
  • Lovable Cloud / Cloudflare - hosting, CDN, and edge functions.
  • AI model providers - text and image generation for deck content, invoked server-side. Only the brief and prompt data required to render a deck are sent; no client PII beyond what you have entered into the deck itself.

We do not sell personal data. We do not share client emails or project data with any third party for advertising.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser local storage strictly to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences such as language. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

6. Data retention

Account and project data are retained while your account is active. If you cancel, we retain your data for up to 90 days so you can reactivate, after which it is deleted or anonymised unless we are legally required to keep it (e.g. tax records held for 7 years). You can request deletion at any time.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

8. Client data you upload

If you enter client names, emails, or images into a project, you are the controller of that data and we are the processor. You are responsible for having a lawful basis (usually the client's consent as part of engaging your services) to enter that information into Convert Projects and to send them tracked share links.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (managed by our hosting providers). Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel. No system is perfectly secure - if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

10. International transfers

Convert Projects is delivered globally. Our sub-processors may store or process data outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

11. Contact

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email to account holders. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
